    What is PCIe bifurcation?

    PCI Express bifurcation means splitting the PCI Express bus into smaller buses. You can split a 16-lane PCIe into a 2 x 8 lanes, or 4 x 4, etc. Mainboards supporting PCIe bifurcation have a BIOS setting for enabling the feature. Before buying, please make sure, that your Mainboard supports this. Almost all server boards do support it.
